Olive Harvesting in central Umbria
Would you like to help us harvest the olives to produce our new extra virgin olive oil? We are a very small family farm made up of women: Fausta the official pruner of our olive trees, Elena, who takes care of the olive grove and the sale of the oil during the year, and little Viola, the one who under the olive trees during the harvest usually….draws!
The olive harvest is one of the most interesting experiences you can have here in Umbria. It is a wonderful way to learn a lot not only about local food and wine traditions, but also about our culture. Those who have experienced it report that the atmosphere of a working oil mill and the enthusiasm of the olive growers during the harvest season is something quite unique. You can experience the olive harvest, participate in the olive oil production process and appreciate all the work that goes into making real evo oil!
